We’ve designed Digital Confidence to be simple, supportive, and flexible – so that you can get exactly what you need, when you need it, without any fuss. Here’s how each part of the service works in practice, along with which subscription tiers include what.
Your subscription is linked to your school’s email domain – for example, @school.org. This means that anyone with a matching email address can be added to your school’s subscription. You’ll be able to choose which staff members have access to which elements of the service, depending on their role and needs.
For instance, your school business manager might receive the newsletter and access policy templates, while your digital lead works through the self-assessments and books onto webinars. You’re in full control – and there’s no limit to how many team members you can add.
Everything is managed through our easy-to-use online hub. From here, you can:
You can complete these at your own pace through the hub. The questions are straightforward and non-technical, helping you build a clear picture of what’s in place and what to work on. You’ll get instant feedback, suggested actions, and practical next steps to help you feel more confident.
All guides are available to download directly from the hub. They’re written in plain English and organised by theme, so you can find what you need quickly – whether it’s a guide to filtering, cyber security, or inspection preparation.
Templates are available to download and adapt, covering areas like ICT policies, digital strategies, and data protection. These are practical, up-to-date, and designed specifically for schools.
Each term we’ll run webinars on key topics, followed by informal drop-ins for questions and discussion. You can book via the hub and attend free of charge. In some cases, we’ll make recordings available afterwards for a short time.
Sent directly to your inbox, our newsletter shares tips, sector news, and reminders – written in plain English with school digital leaders in mind. You can choose who in your team receives it.
Our blog is where we share regular updates, advice, and reflections on all things digital in education. From practical tips and step-by-step walkthroughs to sector commentary and thought leadership, it’s designed to keep you informed and inspired.
We cover topics that matter to school digital leaders – including what’s changing in guidance, lessons from recent inspections, or simple ideas to make day-to-day digital work easier. It’s a space to stay connected, stay up to date, and feel part of a supportive community.
You can browse blog posts any time through the Digital Confidence hub, with new content added regularly throughout the year.
Submit your questions through the hub and we’ll usually reply within 48 hours. Straightforward queries get an email response, and more involved issues may be followed up with an online call. It’s all about timely, practical help.
If you line manage IT staff but don’t feel confident setting targets or planning CPD, we can help. Just ask through the hub and we’ll provide guidance, sample objectives, or suggestions tailored to your situation.
Platinum schools also receive one-to-one termly coaching to support line management of IT teams. We’ll help you reflect, plan, and lead confidently – even if you’re not technical yourself.
We’ll help you understand whether your managed service provider is meeting expectations, and what to do if something isn’t right – all via clear, friendly advice by email.
For more serious or ongoing issues, Platinum schools receive hands-on support – including reviewing contracts, drafting communications, and preparing for meetings or changes.
We’ll review your school website once a year and provide a report showing what’s in place, what’s missing, and how to fix it – helping you stay compliant and confident ahead of inspections.
As part of your subscription, you’ll receive discounted access to:
These are completely optional and available when you need them – giving you expert backup without paying for services you’re not using.
Digital Confidence gives you flexible access to expert advice, practical tools, and ongoing support – all tailored for schools and trusts. With everything managed through our online hub, you can stay organised, supported, and confident in your digital leadership.
